Luc De Haes
Luc grew up in Congo. He holds a Master Degree in Organizational Psychology (K.U. Leuven - with honors).
Dissertation: the role of Work Related Values (i.e. pay for performance) on Job Satisfaction.
During his professional career he accomplished his initial ambition at university to study cultural differences attending a Master in Anthropology.
He started his sales career in 1979 as a logistics and sales manager based in Rwanda & Kenya (2 years), Egypt (5 years), and France & The Netherlands.
He acquired his trainer & consulting skills as a management consultant & sales trainer for Mercuri International.
Luc developed his marketing acumen when acting as the marketing & sales director (management videos with professors from INSEAD) at Video Management.
He created what is today LEUVION/YEO Management in 1994 and focuses on the business development of companies across borders (see our reference list of customers) from a sales and marketing perspective with a personal emphasis on the cultural challenges.
He worked also with PLATINUM technology - Chicago, and later, when acquired by Computer Associates, for CA - New York, as the manager sales training for EMEA from late 1998 till early 2001.
Luc teaches at the University of Ghent, at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, the Antwerp Management School (AMS) and at international organizations such as the European Commission.
Luc gives his seminars in English, French and Dutch.
